Many of our Jonson Lane retailers were shortlisted as finalists in the Australian Interior Design Awards, while JD Property Group received an Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) NSW Award for Excellence in 2023. That same year, The Urban Developer named Jonson Lane Best Mixed-Use Development in Australia. By partnering with leading architects and designers, we continue to deliver places that not only look beautiful, but feel genuinely good to be in.

Jason Dunn

Managing Director

A Byron local with global finance and property expertise.

Jason brings a wealth of expertise in finance, risk, and commercial property. As Managing Director of JD Property Group, he leads every stage of the development process—from site origination and approvals, to financing, construction, sales, marketing, and leasing.

With a 40-year family legacy in Byron Bay real estate, Jason has long-standing relationships with local council, business leaders, and real estate agents. His career spans top investment banks, including Credit Suisse and Goldman Sachs, specialising in finance, private equity, and commodities. 

Prior to founding JD Property Group in 2015, Jason was Executive Director and Head of Global Markets in Singapore and Head of Commodities for Asia at Commonwealth Bank. Jason’s extensive network connects him with residents, investors, and buyers across Sydney, Byron, and beyond.

Anthony Dunn

Senior Development Manager

A construction specialist with a sharp eye for quality.

With a career built on an eye for detail and shaped by over 15 years of on-site experience, Anthony brings a relentless commitment to construction excellence.

At Mirvac, he led the post-completion and asset management division, overseeing quality control for more than $1 billion in residential and commercial projects. His leadership ensured each build was delivered to the highest standard in complex, high-stakes environments.

During his time at Hutchinson Builders, Anthony was a key part of the Coolangatta team where, as Quality Control Manager, he worked to minimise defects through rigorous oversight.

Backed by a family history in the construction industry, he blends technical expertise with a practical, hands-on approach—bringing trusted systems and a relentless focus on quality to every project.
